Steve Smothers

Having for over 30 years experience as a senior pastor and church planter, Steve is currently the lead equipping pastor and a founding elder of Sozo Church in San Marcos, Texas.

Steve is the founder of Better Covenant Living, a ministry that equips and empowers leaders and churches to live on the right side of the cross. He is the author of Seeing Through A Better Lens (2019) and Living Loved (2020).

Steve and his wife, Lesa, have been married thirty-eight years and have four grown sons, three daughters-in-law, two grandchildren and a golden retriever.
